Job Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-driven Videographer/Editor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, shooting, and producing high-quality video content that supports our brand story and captures audience attention across multiple platforms. This role requires strong technical proficiency, excellent storytelling skills, and a deep understanding of digital content trends.
Summary of Work Performed
The core responsibility of this position is to create professional, engaging video content from concept to final delivery. This includes filming, editing, and preparing visual assets that meet brand standards and support ongoing marketing, social media, and communication efforts.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop video concepts and content calendars.
- Plan and prepare for video shoots, including scripting, storyboarding, selecting locations, and scheduling.
- Operate professional camera equipment, lighting setups, and audio recording tools during filming.
- Capture clean, high-quality footage that aligns with brand expectations and project goals.
- Edit and produce polished videos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Enhance videos with music, graphics, subtitles, animations, transitions, and other creative elements.
- Stay updated on current social media trends, editing styles, and viral content formats on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Export and deliver videos in appropriate formats, sizes, and resolutions for various platforms and channels.
- Organize, label, and maintain video archives and content libraries for long-term use.
- Ensure all produced content adheres to the brand identity, messaging guidelines, and visual standards of AFCG and its associated brands.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in videography, video editing, and social media content creation (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in using professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
- Strong understanding of current digital content trends and platform-specific requirements for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Ability to produce high-quality content quickly without compromising on detail or professionalism.
- Strong creative instincts for framing, lighting, storytelling, and visual composition.
- Excellent time management, communication skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to handle a variety of content types and adapt quickly to changing project needs.

Salary Range: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 monthly
